Hannah Lambiotte Smith previously served in multiple leadership roles for Walmart Stores, Inc., including positions of increasing responsibility in both goods-not-for-resale sourcing and international corporate affairs for the global retailer with annual sales of more than $450 billion and operations in 27 countries.

Hannah most recently served as Director of Trade and Supplier Development in Walmart’s Global Sourcing Division, responsible for leading a team dedicated to applying strategic trade and supplier relationship insights to goods-not-for-resale category sourcing processes with the objective of risk mitigation and leveraging Walmart’s global capital and operating expense portfolio. In this role, Hannah was also responsible for providing Walmart’s Global Sourcing Division with recommendations on source country-of-origin optimization, trade preference program utilization, duty mitigation and new market access strategies. 

During her tenure at Walmart, Hannah also served in various roles within the International Corporate Affairs Division, including positions responsible for developing the guidelines, structure and process to administer more than $70 million in annual philanthropic and in-kind resources provided by Walmart International. She also led cross-functional development of new corporate responsibility platforms for the company, including the international components of Walmart’s Women’s Economic Empowerment initiative announced in September 2011. 

While in Walmart International Corporate Affairs, Hannah also contributed significantly to government relations and stakeholder engagement strategies for Walmart’s international M&A portfolio, including the company’s acquisition of D&S S.A., Chile’s leading food retailer, and Massmart Holdings Ltd., the leading African retailer of general merchandise, home improvement equipment and supplies. 

Prior to Walmart, Hannah served as Legislative Assistant for Senator Blanche L. Lincoln (D-AR), responsible for advising the Senator on policy issues related to agriculture, international trade, telecommunications and housing. 

Now Senior Vice President & Managing Director at Lincoln Policy Group (LPG), Hannah advises clients on government relations and public relations strategies primarily in the area of health care, telecommunications, trade, and agriculture. She also manages the legal, financial, human resources, and administrative operations of LPG. 

Hannah received a B.A. in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame, an M.A. in government relations from The George Washington University, and an M.B.A. from Mississippi State University.
